Loving Me, Loving You (Part 3) By Cesnabmihilo Dorothy Nuhu-Aken’Ova

THE TRUTH IN ME

Anyone lying to you is challenging your truth.

Because truth never fades, never changes and never ends.

My people say “you go lie all your lie finish. But truth na one.”

A colleague told me in Hausa that you always hear “ki kan ji ana cewan karyan ka ya kare, ama kin taba ji an ce gaskiyan ki ya kare?”

Meaning “you always hear people say, you have finished or exhausted your lies. But have you ever heard anyone saying your truth is finished?”

This is exactly why the truth catches up with the lier to his or her utter shame and disgrace.

But you know what? We all have the ability in us to discern a lie when we are being lied to. If we do not have a lie in us, we can.

Yes, we can develop our spiritual (NOT religious) person to the point that there is no lie found in us.

No wonder Jesus, the first person in human flesh, walking the earth, (as far as I know) said He is the Truth.

Remember, He identified and vehemently condemned hypocrisy …
